Transport to Balata Botanical Garden

  • 3 Stunden

This transport service to the Balata Garden allows you to travel comfortably to Martinique's botanical jewel from Fort-de-France.

Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the meeting point in Fort-de-France that you have chosen, then proceed north to one of the most visited places in Martinique.

First, we will briefly stop at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, built in 1925, whose architecture is inspired by the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. You will have the opportunity to take pictures of this monument, surrounded by a jungle landscape.

Next, we will continue towards the Balata Botanical Garden, where you can visit at your own pace. This vast orchard of nearly 3 hectares features over 3000 different types of plants and trees, focusing on tropical species.

The garden also boasts a significant collection of orchids and other colorful flowers. The trails in this botanical area are suitable for walking and appreciating the natural beauty.

After approximately an hour of free time in the garden, we will reconvene at the main entrance and return to the meeting points. Arrival back at Fort-de-France is expected around 2.5 hours after the initial pickup time.
