Transport to Balata Botanical Garden

This transport service to the Balata Garden allows you to travel comfortably to Martinique's great botanical jewel from Fort-de-France.

Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the meeting point in Fort-de-France, which you will have chosen, and then travel north towards one of the most visited places in Martinique. First, we'll stop at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, built in 1925, with architecture inspired by the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. You'll have the opportunity to take pictures of this monument, surrounded by a jungle landscape.

Next, we'll head to the Balata Botanical Garden, which you'll be able to explore at your own pace. This garden spans nearly 3 hectares and showcases over 3000 different types of plants and trees, especially tropical species. The garden features a notable collection of orchids and other colorful and aromatic flowers. The walking trails allow for a leisurely enjoyment of the area's natural beauty.

After approximately an hour of free time in the garden, we'll reconvene at the main entrance and return to the meeting points. Arrival back at Fort-de-France is expected to be around 2.5 hours after the initial pickup time.
