Transport to Balata Botanical Garden

This transport service to the Balata Garden provides comfortable travel from Fort-de-France to the botanical site.

Description

We will meet at the scheduled time at the chosen meeting point in Fort-de-France and head north to one of the most frequented places in Martinique.

Our first stop will be at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, constructed in 1925, inspired by the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. We will pause for photographs in front of its façade, which is set in a jungle landscape.

Next, we will proceed to the Balata Botanical Garden, where you can explore at your own pace. Spanning nearly 3 hectares, the garden features over 3000 plant and tree species, particularly tropical ones.

The garden showcases a variety of orchids and other colorful flowers. The trails within this botanical space are suitable for walking and appreciating the natural surroundings.

After approximately one hour of free time in the garden, we will reconvene at the main entrance and return to the meeting points. Arrival back in Fort-de-France is expected around 2.5 hours after the initial pickup.
