We'll meet at the entrance of the Oban War Peace Museum harbour at the designated time and begin our guided tour to explore this little-known town on the west coast of Scotland, also known as the gateway to the Hebrides.
Oban, whose name comes from the Gaelic for "little bay," features one of the most beautiful bays in Scotland. This tour includes visits to Oban's iconic sights, including its famous distillery, one of the oldest in Scotland, dating back to 1794.
We will pass by the War and Peace Museum, where visitors can discover significant chapters of Oban's past, including incidents involving the Dutch ship SS Breda.
Finally, we will approach the McCaig Tower, a coliseum-like building that offers the best views of Oban and its coastline. You'll learn about this landmark that symbolizes the city.
