Marsala, Erice & Segesta Day Trip
Your day trip begins at 8:15 am with pickup from your chosen meeting point. You will travel via minibus to Segesta Archaeological Park, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from Sciacca.
Upon arrival, you will have 1 hour 30 minutes to explore Segesta. The site features significant structures despite its destruction in 306 BC, including the Doric temple and a Greek theatre with panoramic views of the Sicilian coastline and the Mediterranean.
Next, you will travel to Erice, a medieval town on San Giuliano Hill, where you will have 2 hours 30 minutes for exploration.
Erice is known for its cobbled streets, medieval architecture, and traditional shops. Notable sites include the Norman Castle of Venus and the 14th-century Cathedral built during Frederick III of Aragon's reign.
After Erice, the tour will proceed to Marsala, with a brief stop at its salt flats. Following this, you will have 1 hour to explore the historic center of Marsala which includes Garibaldi Gate, the Spanish barracks, the Mother Church, and more.
The trip concludes with a return to the starting point by 6 pm.
