One of the largest and most important archaeological parks in Europe awaits on our Selinunte Day Trip. You'll take a trip back in time to the period of Greek occupation in Sicily - let's go!

Selinunte Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll convene at the agreed meeting point and set off on our minibus to the Selinunte Archaeological Park. The drive there will take around 50 minutes.

Once we've arrived, you'll have 3 hours of free time to explore the ancient Greek city of Selinunte, dating back to the 7th century BC. Discover Doric-style temples, walls, and ruins that showcase what life was like in classical antiquity when this territory was part of Magna Graecia. The archaeological park features informative panels detailing its history, including an attack in 409 BC that led to significant destruction.

As you walk around The Acropolis and historic buildings like the Temple of Hera and the Sanctuary of the Malophoros, you will also enjoy views of Sicily's west coastline.

After 5 hours of history, culture, and archaeology, we'll head back to the starting point and say our goodbyes.
