Discover Oman's fascinating marine plant and animal life on this snorkelling activity in the Daymaniyat Islands - 'The Jewel of the Middle East'.

Snorkel in the Daymaniyat Islands

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Seeb Port, where we'll take our snorkelling equipment and board our boat to the Daymaniyat Islands.

Before we dive in, we will learn the basics of snorkelling on the beach, with assistance provided for all equipment.

The Daymaniyat Islands, declared a nature reserve, are an important nesting area for hawksbill turtles and various migratory birds. If fortunate, we may spot some of these creatures.

Considered the jewel of the Middle East, the Daymaniyat Islands offer dive sites for divers of all levels. On this tour, we'll visit 2 or 3 sites, depending on the turtles’ breeding and nesting season, showcasing the beauty of the crystal-clear waters.

Participants will discover numerous colourful fish among spectacular corals, as well as rays, eels, and possibly the occasional whale shark.

After 4.5 hours of activity, we will return to the meeting point and conclude the tour.
