Embark on a guided tour of Segovia’s historic center and explore important monuments including the Alcazar and Casa de los Picos.

Tour Details

Begin this walking tour from the base of the Roman aqueduct, the city's most emblematic landmark and one of the best-preserved elevated aqueducts in Europe.

Follow your guide down calle Real to discover the Mirador de la Canaleja, a viewpoint overlooking the San Millán neighborhood. Next, visit the Casa de los Picos, a fifteenth-century house with a unique façade, and learn about its history. Continue through the Old Town to Plaza de Medina del Campo, known for its past and home to San Martin Church, dating from 1117.

Visit the Plaza del Corpus (Corpus Square), featuring the Old Main Synagogue, now a Christian church.

Proceed to the Plaza Mayor, which houses notable buildings including the impressive Cathedral.

Cross the Canonjías neighborhood to reach the Alcazar of Segovia, one of Spain's most spectacular fortresses. After admiring its exterior, explore its legends and history inside.
