Begin this walking tour from the base of the Roman aqueduct, the city’s emblematic landmark and one of the best-maintained elevated aqueducts in Europe.
Follow your guide down calle Real to discover the Mirador de la Canaleja, a viewpoint over the San Millán neighborhood. Then, visit the Casa de los Picos, built in the fifteenth century, and learn about its history. Continue through the Old Town to Plaza de Medina del Campo, notable for its past and home to the San Martin Church from 1117.
You will also visit the Plaza del Corpus (Corpus Square), which features the Old Main Synagogue, now a Christian church.
Continue to the Plaza Mayor, accommodating some of the town’s significant buildings, including the Cathedral.
Afterwards, cross the Canonjías neighborhood to reach the Alcazar of Segovia, one of Spain's most spectacular fortresses. After viewing its exterior, step inside to discover its legends and history.
The tour concludes at the Alcazar.
