On this walking tour of Segovia, we will see the main monuments of the historic center from the outside, including the Aqueduct, the synagogue, and the cathedral. Additionally, there will be a guided tour inside the Alcázar, which is a World Heritage Site.
Tour Details
At the designated time, we will commence our guided tour of Segovia at the iconic Roman aqueduct.
We will then walk along Calle Real, exploring notable sites such as Plaza de Medina del Campo, where we will view the Romanesque church of San Martín from the outside, built in 1117.
The tour continues through Plaza del Corpus to the old Main Synagogue of Segovia. Next, we will visit Plaza Mayor to admire the exterior of the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción y San Frutos, also known as "the lady of cathedrals."
From the cathedral, we will proceed to the interior of the Alcázar of Segovia, a unique World Heritage monument. Inside, we will see the throne room and its Mudejar coffered ceiling, along with artworks from the Trastámara and Habsburg dynasties. The visit includes the Royal Artillery College Museum located by the parade ground.
The tour will last 1 hour and 45 minutes and will conclude at the main entrance to the Alcázar of Segovia.
