On this guided tour, you'll explore Segovia and discover its designation as a World Heritage Site since 1985. The itinerary includes a walk through the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, and the Alcazar.
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet beside the famous Aqueduct, a key monument of Segovia. From there, we'll begin our guided tour in Spanish of the provincial capital.
This Roman aqueduct, believed to be the best-preserved in the world, is over 2000 years old and a must-see in the city.
After the aqueduct, we will head to Calle Real, the main street, where we will visit noteworthy sites including Medina del Campo and Corpus Christi Squares and the Roman Church of San Martín.
In Plaza Mayor, we'll explore the Cathedral of Segovia, known as the "Lady of the Cathedrals" for its size. Inside, we will appreciate its 16th-century architecture, showcasing Gothic and Renaissance styles.
Next, we will move to the Canonjías neighborhood to visit the Alcazar of Segovia, a notable fortress in Spain. After a guided tour of the Alcazar, we will conclude the tour in 2.5 hours.
