Tour Details

At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel in Semarang for a 3-hour drive through Central Java. The first stop is Borobudur temple, the largest Buddhist monument globally. We will explore this grand pyramid with its nine platforms and 504 Buddha statues, learning about its origins and significance as Indonesia's most visited Buddhist pilgrimage site.

Afterward, we will visit the nearby temples of Pawon and Mendut. You will discover the connections between these stone structures. Following this, there will be 1 hour for lunch (not included).

Next, we will depart for Prambanan, a complex of over 200 Hindu temples. You will learn about its purpose and importance to the Sanjaya dynasty and visit the foundation stone placed in 856.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel after a 10-hour excursion.
