Originally, Seoul Tower was a communications tower. However, it became a significant tourist landmark when its observation deck at 200 meters opened to the public. Namsan Cable Car

When making your reservation, you can choose the option that includes a round-trip ticket on the Namsan Cable Car. Board at the platform at 83 Sopa-ru in the Jung district and ascend to Mount Namsan and Seoul Tower.

The cable car, operating since 1962, offers a ride suspended between the mountain landscape and the modern skyline. The outbound journey lasts approximately 3 minutes and reaches a height of up to 138 meters (453 ft).

Opening Hours

Seoul Tower is open at the following times:

Monday to Thursday: from 11 am to 10 pmFriday, Saturday, and Sunday: from 11 am to 10:30 pm

The last entry is 30 minutes before closing. The Namsan Cable Car operates daily from 10 am to 11 pm. If you choose the cable car option, you'll need to collect your tickets from a different location, provided in your booking confirmation.
