On this tour of Naksan Park, participants will view part of the old Seoul City Wall and enjoy 360º views of the city at sunset.
Tour Details
The meeting point is the Dongdaemun metro station. Once all participants arrive, the tour will begin with a walk to Naksan Park. The trails are designed to ensure an easy ascent, making the walk up a pleasant experience.
During the hike, participants will pass sections of the old Seoul City Wall, built in 1396 with a historical perimeter of 18 kilometres (11 miles). Currently, 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) of its ruins can be accessed.
The park is shaped like a camel's hump, and upon reaching Mount Naksan, visitors will have excellent views of the city at sunset, ideal for photos.
Time will be allotted for enjoying the scenery and taking pictures, followed by a visit to a local café for a drink. Options include coffee, cocktails, Korean beer, or soft drinks. The tour concludes at the Hyehwa bus station after approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Tour + Dinner
An upgraded option includes dinner. After the park tour, participants will visit a local restaurant for traditional Korean food, such as marinated chicken or pork barbeque, steamed kimchi, and stone-cooked rice. This option lasts 3 hours and ends at the same location as the standard tour.
