Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet outside Hyehwa Station to start this food tour of Seoul. This tour will cover traditional South Korean flavors while exploring the city's enchanting evening spots.
Our first stop will be Changgyeong Palace, featuring Myeongjeongjeon Hall and Chundangji Pond. Visitors will learn about royal life and observe architectural details.
Next, we will visit Gwangjang Market, exploring three of the market's best stores and tasting iconic street foods such as Jeon (savory pancakes) and Kkwabaegi (twisted donuts). Optional tastings include chopped live octopus and beef tartare, paired with traditional Makgeolli rice wine.
Continuing, we will stroll along Ikseon-dong Hanok Street and then proceed to Insadong, known for art, crafts, and souvenirs.
We will conclude our experience at Jogyesa Temple, a center of Korean Zen Buddhism. Highlights include the main Buddha Hall featuring statues and lanterns. Insights into Buddhist traditions and the temple's significance will be shared.
