At the designated time, we will convene at your selected meeting point in Seoul. Our adventure will commence at Jogyesa Temple, a key Buddhist site in the country.

This temple, situated in central Seoul and established in 1935, is a revered destination for adherents of Korean Buddhism. Curious about the significance of the ancient white pine tree that adorns it? We'll uncover its story!

Following this, we’ll proceed to Gyeongbokgung Palace, where a striking event awaits: the ceremonial changing of the guard. Unlike ceremonies elsewhere, the South Korean ritual boasts a unique blend of music and colorful attire that captivates all who watch.

After witnessing this extraordinary event, we’ll enter the Gyeongbok Palace, a historic site that has withstood countless challenges over centuries, embodying the rich tapestry of Korea's past.

Post our palace exploration, we'll take a break for lunch at a nearby eatery. Energized, we will continue our journey with a visit to the National Folk Museum of Korea, located adjacent to Gyeongbokgung Palace, showcasing replicas that highlight Korean traditions and significant historical monuments.

Our next destination will be the Blue House, the official residence and workplace of South Korea's leaders, where we will reflect on its historical significance while admiring the striking blue-tiled traditional roof.

As the tour nears its conclusion, we'll stop at the Ginseng Center, where you can delve into the culture and medicinal uses of this vital plant in Seoul. We will finish our time together at either Seoul City Hall or Myeongdong, wrapping up after 4 hours.

Extended 8-Hour Tour

For those seeking a more in-depth exploration of Seoul, consider opting for the 8-hour tour. After our visit to the Ginseng Center, we will explore the craft and art markets of Insadong, a captivating area filled with charming souvenirs, modern galleries, and tea houses.

To deepen your understanding of Korean culture, we will ascend the N Seoul Tower via the Namsan Cable Car, an iconic structure offering breathtaking views of both the Namsan mountain and the cityscape of Seoul from over 1968 ft (600 m) above ground.

Next, we will journey to the bustling shopping street of Myeongdong, followed by a visit to Namdaemun, the largest traditional market in Korea, where the eclectic shops will undoubtedly tempt you into making a purchase!

We will conclude this extensive tour 8 hours later, either in the City Hall vicinity or in the Myeongdong area.
