Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Jegi-dong Station to begin our tour of Seoul's marketplaces. Ready to discover the South Korean capital's colours, aromas, and flavours?
We'll begin by exploring the traditional fruit and vegetable market, Cheongnyangni, for half an hour, where you can try fruits that can only be found in South Korea.
Next, we will visit the medicinal herb market, Yangnyeongsi, the oldest and most famous in the city, to discover the importance of these herbs in the daily lives of Koreans.
As we walk to our next marketplace, we'll stop at Starbucks Gyeongdong 1960, a café reconstructed from an old theatre, representing Seoul's modernisation. We will also visit Gold Star Radio LG, showcasing historical LG appliances reflecting South Korea's technological advances.
At Gyeongdong Market, we'll taste local products such as fresh strawberries, vegetables, and omija drinks, and explore an extensive subterranean shopping centre that preserves the market's 80s atmosphere.
Lastly, we'll visit Seoul's K Medi Centre for a one-hour immersion into traditional Korean medicine. This includes a visit to the Museum of Korean Medical History and a traditional massage, concluding with a cup of tea or healthy drink at the Oriental Medicine Cafe.
This 3-hour tour will conclude at the initial meeting point.
