Alcácer do Sal Boat Tour

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet at Doca das Fontainhas, in Setúbal, to begin this boat ride along Alcácer do Sal. We will board a boat to explore the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve, known for its rich nature and cultural heritage.

While on the boat, we will view the landscapes and learn about the significant aspects of Alcácer do Sal, including the history of the reserve and the bird species that inhabit it. We will also learn about the importance of Alcácer do Sal during Roman times and the origins of its name. Key coastal spots we will visit include Praia da Comporta, Praia da Torre, Praia Carvalhal, Praia da Raposa, and Praia Galé.

After 4 hours on the boat, we will return to the starting point, concluding this experience.
