Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet along the ER379-1 Highway to start this hiking route through the Arrábida Natural Park. After introductions, we'll begin the hike to explore this area rich in nature and history, established in 1976 for the preservation of local flora. The park features a notable rich vegetation, including examples of Mediterranean maquis.
The hike will take us along paths through the cliffs between Sesimbra and Cabo Espichel, providing opportunities to appreciate native species and local biodiversity. Throughout the 7 kilometers (4.35 miles) of our route, we will admire the Arrábida mountain range and learn about the wildlife, history, and traditions of this area. The tour will conclude four hours later back at the starting point.
