Setúbal is an important location for observing Atlantic coast biodiversity. This tour includes dolphin watching in the Sado Estuary and a visit to Arrábida Park.

Sado Estuary Dolphin Watching & Arrábida Tour

Participants will be picked up at the designated time at Fontainhas Port. From there, a boat will take us for dolphin watching in Setubal Bay, a significant area on the Atlantic coast.

This bay houses a community of dolphins present throughout the year. We will search for bottlenose dolphins, observing their behaviors, including swimming and jumping. Following the boat tour, we will return to shore and proceed to board a 9-seater vehicle for the journey to Arrábida Natural Park.

During the park visit, we will ascend its hills, stopping at various viewpoints of historical and scenic significance, where we will have views of the Sado Estuary and the Troia Peninsula.

The activity lasts 3.5 hours before returning to the original meeting point.
