Step back in time to discover the contrast between the Roman Period and the Caliphate period in the famous Andalusian city with this Cordoba Day trip from Seville.

Description

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at the established meeting points in Seville and depart to the ancient Caliphal capital of Cordoba. After a brief stop in Carmona, we’ll arrive in the city of Cordoba, a World Heritage Site.

We'll take a guided tour of the historic center of Cordoba, including the Roman Bridge, the old Jewish quarter, the Royal Stables, and the Synagogue (closed on Mondays). You'll also visit the colorful courtyards of Cordoba.

After the historic tour, you'll have lunch at your own leisure following the guide's recommendations, with 30 to 45 minutes of free time for shopping or strolling.

In the afternoon, we'll conduct a guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, where you'll see its golden mosaics and intricate arches. This is an important monument of Western Islamic art.

At the conclusion of the guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, we'll return to the meeting points in Seville, arriving at 7 pm.

Note that an English-speaking guide in the Mosque-Cathedral can only be guaranteed if a sufficient number of participants join. Otherwise, you may join a group in another language or use an audio guide. The rest of the tour will be in English.
