Doña Ana, daughter of the princess of Éboli, was captivated by the landscapes which today bear her name: Doñana. On this day trip, you'll be left in no doubt as to why!
Doñana Day Trip
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Seville, beginning our journey southwards. Following the Guadalquivir River, we'll cross Coria del Río towards the Dehesa de Abajo natural reserve for bird spotting, where various species thrive. Notably, it hosts the largest European colony of storks.
We will continue southwards in a 4x4, traversing the Guadalquivir marshes to reach El Rocio. There, we will visit the Hermitage, with its virgin celebrated every Monday during Pentecost by numerous devotees. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit the SEO Observatory, managed by Spain's official ornithological society.
Next, we'll embark on a walking tour around the Doñana national park, exploring its various palaces. After this tour, you will have free time for lunch. During summer, a quick dip in the sea is possible—remember your swimsuit!
Following lunch, we will visit the onubense dunes, the largest in Spain, before returning to Seville.
Schedule
The tour's departure is based on sunrise, optimizing wildlife viewing opportunities. The exact start time will be communicated after your reservation.
