Doña Ana, daughter of the princess of Éboli, was captivated by the landscapes which today bear her name: Doñana. On this day trip, you'll be left in no doubt as to why!
Doñana Day Trip
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Seville, heading south for our day trip. Following the Guadalquivir river, we'll cross Coria del Río towards the Dehesa de Abajo natural reserve. In this national park, we will go bird spotting, home to the largest European colony of storks.
The route continues southwards in a 4x4, traversing the Guadalquivir marshes, until we reach El Rocio. Here we will visit the Hermitage, celebrated every Monday during Pentecost. For those interested, there's access to the SEO Observatory, run by Spain's official ornithological society.
Next, enjoy a walking tour around the Doñana national park, exploring different palaces along the river's banks, followed by free time for lunch. During summer, you may also take a quick dip in the sea - remember your swimsuit.
After lunch, we'll visit the onubense dunes, the largest in Spain, before returning to Seville.
