Doñana Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Seville and begin our day trip southwards.

We'll follow the Guadalquivir river and cross Coria del Río to reach the Dehesa de Abajo natural reserve. In this protected national park, we'll go bird spotting, as the wetlands attract various species, including the largest European colony of storks.

The route continues southwards in a 4x4 through the Guadalquivir marshes, arriving in El Rocio. Here, we’ll visit the Hermitage and its celebrated virgin, honored every Monday during the Catholic period of Pentecost. You'll also have the opportunity to see the SEO Observatory, operated by Spain's official ornithological society.

Next, we’ll embark on a walking tour around the Doñana national park, exploring its palaces. After the tour, you will have free time for lunch. During summer, swimming in the sea is an option, so remember your swimsuit!

After lunch, we’ll visit the onubense dunes, the largest in Spain, before returning to Seville.

The tour's departure is based on sunrise to optimize wildlife viewing. Start times vary, but once your reservation is made, the local provider will inform you of the exact pickup time.

This tour includes pickup and drop-off at hotels in central Seville. If your hotel is outside this area, we will meet you at Rastro 12A.
