An amphitheatre, thermal baths, theatre, aqueducts... that's Itálica, a miniature Rome just ten minutes from Sevilla. Hail Ceasar!

Itálica Day Trip

Having picked you up at the selected meet point in Seville, we'll make the 10-minute journey to Santiponce, the area in the outskirts of Sevilla where the Roman ruins can be found.

We'll tour the Itálica archaeological site, the birthplace of Trajan, the first Roman emperor to be born outside of Italy. Our exploration will begin at the amphitheatre, where we will remember the gladiatorial battles that were a hallmark of Roman entertainment. Next, we'll visit the Itálica theatre, renowned for being the best preserved in the province of Sevilla. To complete our visit to the archaeological site, we will also admire the spectacular original mosaics that showcase the artistry of Roman civilization.

Just five minutes away from Itálica is the San Isidoro del Campo monastery. Here, we will explore two spacious cloisters designed in a Moorish style, including the cloister of the Evangelists, which features several pictorial works dating back to the 15th century.

At the end of our tour, we will head back to Seville, located just 12 minutes away, and aim to arrive back at approximately 2 pm.
