Sierra de Aracena Full-Day Trip Itinerary

We'll collect you from the meeting point and start our approximately 10-hour day tour.

Our route will pass through the Dehesa de Sierra Morena, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2002. These areas are home to various animals like "brave bulls" (toros bravos) and acorn-fed Iberian pigs, used to make the finest Jabugo "jamón Ibérico." Jabugo is renowned for its prized product in Huelva.

We will arrive at the historic Aracena, where we will visit the Aracena Castle, built between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, significant for its strategic position in the Middle Ages. We will also explore the natural caves of the Gruta de las Maravillas. This underground network, opened to the public in 1914, was among the first in Spain.

En route to Seville, we will enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean forest of La Peña de Arias Montano and make a stop in Almonaster La Real, home to what is believed to be the oldest mosque in Spain.

In the evening, we will head back to Seville at 7 pm.
