As the meeting point of Europe and Africa, Tangier offers contrasts. Embark on a ferry, crossing the Gibraltar Strait to this Moroccan city.

Tangier Day Trip

After pickup at the agreed meeting point in Seville, we will head by bus south of the Iberian Peninsula.

The bus ride will last two hours through the province of Cadiz. We will arrive at Tarifa, where we will take a ferry crossing the Gibraltar Strait: a 75-minute journey to Tangier.

In Tangier, we will explore the old town, known for its commercial history. The souks are the main attraction, offering a variety of artisanal Arabic wares.

We will enjoy a typical Moroccan lunch with couscous, often served with lamb and vegetables, and the option to try tajin, a meat-based stew with vegetables or beans. Drinks at lunch are not included.

After lunch, we will view the Tangier old town from the fortress, learning about the city's history.

In the evening, we will return to Tangier to take the ferry back to Tarifa. We will then return to Seville by bus, arriving around 10:30 pm.

To travel to Tangier, a valid passport is required.Citizens from some countries need a visa to enter Morocco; ensure you have this document if necessary.Students must show valid identification.
