As the meeting point of Europe and Africa, Tangier offers endless contrasts. Embark on a ferry, crossing the Gibraltar Strait to explore this Moroccan city.

Tangier Day Trip

After pickup at the designated meeting point in Seville, we will travel by bus to Tangier. The bus ride lasts two hours, traveling through the province of Cadiz. We will arrive at Tarifa to catch the ferry, a 75-minute journey to Tangier’s port.

In Tangier, explore the old town with its picturesque streets, once rich in commerce. The souks are the main attractions, showcasing a variety of artisanal Arabic wares.

Enjoy a typical Moroccan lunch featuring couscous and tajin, local dishes made with meat and vegetables. Drinks are not included.

After lunch, view the old town from atop the fortress, which offers insight into the city’s extensive history. In the evening, we will return to the port for the ferry back to Tarifa, then bus back to Seville, arriving around 10:30 pm.

A valid passport is required to travel to Tangier.Some nationalities may require a visa to enter Morocco; verify this prior to traveling.Students must present a valid form of identification.
