As the meeting point of Europe and Africa, Tangier offers contrasts. Embark on a ferry, crossing the Gibraltar Strait to explore this Moroccan city.

Tangier Day Trip

After pickup at the agreed meeting point in Seville, we'll travel by bus south for approximately two hours through Cadiz Province. Arriving in Tarifa, we will take a ferry for a 75-minute crossing to Tangier.

In Tangier, we'll explore the old town's charming streets, highlighting the local souks, where various artisanal Arabic goods can be found. A typical Moroccan lunch will be provided, featuring couscous—often served with lamb and vegetables—and the option to try tajin. Note that drinks are not included.

Post-lunch, we'll head to a high fortress for views of the old town and insights into the city’s historical background. In the evening, we'll return to Tangier for the ferry back to Tarifa, and then travel by bus back to Seville, arriving around 10:30 pm.

A valid passport is required for travel to Tangier.Some nationalities may need a visa to enter Morocco. Ensure you have this document if applicable.Students must present a valid form of identification.
