Embark on an unforgettable adventure with us on our expedition through the glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park. We'll traverse the colossal ice formations and relish the magnificent views of the southern Alaskan mountains.

Glacier Hike in Kenai Fjords National Park

Bright and early, we'll meet up at Seward Hwy, where a minibus will transport us to the heart of Kenai Fjords National Park for a journey through the glaciers.

Upon arrival, we will equip ourselves with crampons and trekking poles, setting off on a hike covering approximately six kilometers (4 miles) with a vertical gain of about 500 meters (1,640 feet). This challenging hike will reward us with stunning scenery.

We will explore the massive ice formations by venturing inside the Kenai Fjords glaciers, learning about their formation and the effects of global warming on them.

Our guides will inform us about the local wildlife, such as bears, moose, mountain goats, or marmots, which we may see during our hike.

We will take a break to enjoy a sandwich, an energy bar, and a piece of fruit during our picnic on the ice.

After eight hours of exploration, we will return to our transportation and head back to the starting point to conclude our adventure.
