Seward Snowshoeing Tour

Description

Join this snowshoeing adventure in southern Alaska. The tour starts at Seward Hwy where participants will be equipped with snowshoes and trekking poles. Hikers will ascend the snow-covered mountains, enjoying views of Resurrection Bay, which remains unfrozen even in the coldest months, ideal for photography.

Throughout the hike, there will be opportunities to observe the local plant and wildlife, learning about their adaptations to the snowy environment. Information regarding native species will also be shared.

After 6 hours of exploration, the tour concludes with a return to the starting point. Participants will enjoy a refreshment of their choice, including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or cider, along with a lunch comprising soup, fresh bread, and biscuits.
