During booking, choose between two options based on duration and wineries visited, both meeting at 99 Jefferson Street, Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco.
Half-Day Trip (6 Hours)
Meeting just after midday, the tour begins with a crossing of the Golden Gate Bridge, where the guide will provide insights about the landmark and other sights in San Francisco. After traversing Sausalito, the journey continues into wine country, showcasing rolling green landscapes. After an hour's drive, the first winery is reached for a tour of the grounds, learning about the estate's history and the fermentation, barrel aging, and bottling processes.
This option includes visits to 2 wineries, with tastings of 3-5 signature blends at each, guided by a wine expert. The return to San Francisco may offer a view of the Pacific Ocean sunset, concluding at the original meeting point.
Full-Day Trip (9 Hours)
This option provides a more comprehensive experience. After a morning meet-up and a mini city tour crossing the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausalito, the tour heads into wine country with a scenic drive to the first winery for a detailed exploration of winemaking. A total of 3 wineries are visited, with 3-5 tastings at each of their finest wines.
Lunchtime includes a break in downtown Sonoma, offering time to explore, grab lunch, and visit boutique shops and art galleries. In the afternoon, the tour concludes with a return to San Francisco, ending at the starting point after a full day of wine tourism.
