On this private day trip to Suzhou from Shanghai, we'll discover the so-called “The Venice of the East”.

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Shanghai and travel to Suzhou, located 100km (6.2 miles) west of Shanghai.

Upon arrival, we'll visit one of the famous gardens, either the Lion Grove Garden or the Humble Administrator’s Garden, both established over five hundred years ago and recognized as UNESCOWorld Heritage Sites.

Next, enjoy a small riverboat ride through the city's canals, surrounded by lush vegetation.

After the cruise, we will head to the city center for lunch on Guanqian Jie, Suzhou's main shopping street.

In the afternoon, we will take a walking tour down Shan Tang Jie Street, visit a silk factory, and explore Tiger Hill, noted for its leaning pagoda built in 959.

We will conclude the tour after 7-8 hours and return you to your hotel in Shanghai, or drop you off at another location in the city (Xintiandi, Nanjing Road…).
