Lake Koman & Shalë River Day Trip

Join us on this day trip to Lake Koman and the Shalë River to discover the landscapes of the Albanian Alps. Experience waterfalls, wild forests, karst caves, and turquoise waters.

Tour Details

We will meet at the Rozafa Hotel in Shkodër at the designated time. From there, we will travel to Lake Koman, a reservoir created in 1979. Prepare for a day in turquoise waters.

After approximately 1.5 hours of driving, we will arrive at the lake's pier to board a boat heading to the Shalë River. During the ride, you will experience the beauty of the Albanian Alps, surrounded by waterfalls, wild forests, karst caves, and pristine waters.

After around 75 minutes, we will reach the shores of the Shalë River. You will have approximately 3 hours to explore the area, swim, take photos, rent a kayak, or try local cuisine.

Finally, we will return to the pier where the trip began and head back to Shkodër. After a total of 11.5 hours, we will conclude our journey at the starting point.
