At the specified time, we will meet at Austurgata Street to begin the kayak tour. Participants will discover the marine wildlife of western Iceland during this activity.

After introductions, equipment will be distributed, and we will embark on a kayaking adventure in Breiðafjörður Bay. This area is recognized for its unspoiled islands and diverse wildlife. Departing from the port of Stykkishólmur, one of Iceland's notable towns, we will explore the highlights of the region.

For 2 hours, participants will paddle amid a unique landscape of volcanoes and glaciers. Once comfortable with the kayaks, we will venture further from the coast to seek puffins and seals.

The tour will also include an exploration of the remains of a shipwreck, where we will provide details about how and why it ended up in that location. Before concluding the tour, we will share insights into the history of the Snaefellsnes peninsula.

The kayak tour will finish back at the original meeting point on the coast of Stykkishólmur.
