At the designated time, we'll meet at Austurgata Street to begin the kayak tour along the coast of Stykkishólmur. This adventure will focus on discovering the marine wildlife of western Iceland.

After introductions, we will distribute the equipment and start kayaking in the Breiðafjörður Bay, an area known for its unspoiled islands and wildlife. Departing from the port of Stykkishólmur, we will uncover various local highlights.

For 2 hours, we will paddle through a landscape characterized by volcanoes and glaciers. Once comfortable with the kayaks, we will venture further from the coast to search for puffins and seals.

The tour will include an exploration of the remains of a shipwreck. We will approach this stranded vessel and discuss how and why it ended up there. Additionally, we will provide insights into the history of the wild and rugged Snaefellsnes peninsula.

The kayak tour concludes back at the meeting point in Stykkishólmur.
