East Java Volcano Private Tour: 3 Days from Surabaya to Bali

Mount Bromo and Ijen volcanic crater are notable natural phenomena in Java. This three-day tour concludes in Bali.

Activity Details

Day 1: Surabaya Airport

Your guide will meet you at Juanda International Airport or at the Surabaya train station. From there, you will travel through East Java to your hotel at Mount Bromo, with a journey time of around three hours. A stop will be made for a hearty lunch before arrival at your accommodation for rest.

Day 2: Mount Bromo

On the second day, depart the hotel at 3:30 am in an all-terrain Jeep to Gunung Penanjakan, reaching a viewpoint over 9,000 feet (2,770 meters) for a spectacular sunrise. Afterward, you will descend towards the caldera and ride up the slopes of Mount Bromo on horseback. After enjoying the views, you’ll return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by departure to Ketapang to relax.

Day 3: Ijen – Ketapang –Bali

Gather in the hotel lobby at 2 am for a visit to the Ijen volcanoes, known for blue lava. Due to safety, you may not see this lava but will receive information about it. After exploring, you will return to Ketapang to catch a ferry to Gilimanuk in Bali, concluding the tour.
