Floating Village Tour Itinerary

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap and head to the river port where you'll board a boat. As you cruise up the river, you'll pass the green rice paddies that are essential to the country's economy.

As you sail up the river, you'll reach the traditional Cambodian pagodas, markets, and houses . The wooden buildings in Kampong Phluk are built on stilts in the Tonle Sap Lake, making it a true floating village.

You will discover how people live in this unique setting and learn about the importance of the different seasons in their routines. Rising and falling water levels change how the local population of around 3000 people live and work.
