Private 2 Day Tour of Angkor Temples

Day 1

Pick up from your hotel is between 7:45 am and 8 am. The tour begins at the south gate of Angkor Thom, where the last Khmer kings ruled. Explore the Baphuon Temple and the bas-reliefs of Bayon Temple. Next, visit Ta Prohm, an ancient Buddhist monastery engulfed by jungle, followed by lunch.

After lunch, head to Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, active since the 12th century. You'll be dropped off at your hotel in Siem Reap around 5 pm for rest before the second day.

At 8 am, pick up from your hotel again for a tour of Angkor. The first stop is Pre Rup Temple, built in the 10th century and known for its funeral rites. Then, visit Ta Som and Preah Khan, showcasing Khmer architecture amidst jungle settings. Proceed to Neak Paon, built on an artificial island.

A break for lunch will occur at 1 pm at a local restaurant. Afterward, explore Banteay Srei, known as the Citadel of Women, built from red sandstone. Finally, visit a gallery displaying photos and information about Banteay Srei's restoration. At the end of the tour, transportation back to your hotel in Siem Reap will be provided.
