Let yourself be captivated by the rhythms of Apsara: spend an unforgettable evening enjoying a performance of the traditional Cambodian dance and indulging in a typical buffet dinner.
Dinner & Apsara Dance Show: what to expect?
Your evening of cultural immersion will begin in a tuk-tuk, a typical means of transportation in Asia. You'll be picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap at around 6:30 pm and taken to a Theatre of Folklore in the city center.
Once settled in the theatre, you'll enjoy a traditional Cambodian show featuring talented dancers in local costumes performing classical ballet. The Apsara dance, originating from the 7th century, is central to Cambodia's cultural identity and is based on Hindu and Buddhist mythology.
Alongside the dance performance, you'll be served a delicious buffet dinner showcasing typical Cambodian specialties. A highlight of the meal is the traditional dish "amok," which consists of curry steam-cooked in banana leaves with various ingredients like chicken or fish.
At the end of the evening, around 8:30 pm, you'll be taken back to your hotel.
