Siem Reap to Phnom Penh: Cambodia 5-Day Tour

Day 1: Siem Reap – Battambang

The tour begins at 7:30 am with a hotel pick-up in Siem Reap. A 3-hour drive takes us to the historic Wat Ek Phnom temple, a significant 11th-century site. Afterward, we will tour Battambang, visiting pagodas, colonial houses, and the Ta Dumbong statue. After leaving luggage at the hotel, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon features a half-hour ride on the bamboo train followed by a visit to Phnom Sampov mountain to see the bat caves. We return to the hotel in Battambang for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Battambang – Pursat

After breakfast, we depart for the ruins of Wat Bakan, an important site in Cambodian Buddhism. Next, we have lunch at Central Market in Pursat and visit the floating village of Kompong Luong, where we will take a cruise in a traditional boat. We will return to Pursat for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Pursat – Udong – Phnom Penh

We begin our journey to Udong after breakfast. First, we will have lunch in Udong before visiting Phnom Udong. After a guided tour, we will continue to Phnom Penh and check into a hotel in the old town.

Day 4: Phnom Penh

After breakfast, we will tour Phnom Penh, visiting the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum of Cambodia. A lunch will be served in the city center. In the afternoon, we travel to Koh Dach (Silk Island) by boat and learn about silk production before returning to the hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 5: Phnom Penh

We visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum after breakfast and continue to the Choeung Ek Memorial. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. The afternoon includes visits to Wat Ounalom Monastery, Wat Phnom, and the Phnom Penh Russian Market for souvenirs. We will return to the hotel to collect luggage at the end of the tour.
