At the appointed time, we'll meet in Piazza Salimbeni, near the Sallustio Bandini statue, to start this guided tour of Siena. We will first visit the Piazza del Campo and discuss the Palio di Siena, an equestrian competition held since the Middle Ages.

We will then walk through the historic center of Siena, observing notable buildings like Palazzo Tolomei and Palazzo Salimbeni.

Additionally, we'll visit the Basilica of San Domenico, which houses a significant relic in Tuscany.

Finally, we'll approach Piazza del Duomo for a guided tour of the baptistery and the Siena Cathedral.

Inside the cathedral, we'll view numerous masterpieces, including La Maestà of Buoninsegna and a sculpture of St. Paul by Michelangelo Buonarroti.
