At the appointed time, we'll meet in Piazza Salimbeni, by the Sallustio Bandini statue, to start this guided tour of Siena from one of its most emblematic squares. We will head to the Piazza del Campo, discussing the Palio di Siena, an equestrian competition held since the Middle Ages, which remains popular today.

We will walk through the historic center of Siena, admiring façades of important palaces like Palazzo Tolomei and Palazzo Salimbeni, which reflect Siena's past.

We will see the Basilica of San Domenico, known for housing a mummified head of a revered figure.

Gradually, we will approach Piazza del Duomo for a guided tour of the baptistery and the Siena Cathedral.

Inside the cathedral, we will look at significant artworks, including La Maestà by Buoninsegna and a sculpture of St. Paul by Michelangelo Buonarroti.

After an hour-long guided tour, we will conclude at the Cathedral.
