Scuba Diving on Isla del Caño

Embark on a captivating journey to the stunning reserve of Isla del Caño in Costa Rica through this scuba diving experience. Engage in two immersive dives and appreciate the diverse marine life and ecosystems.

Activity Details

Upon arrival at calle hacia los Planes at the scheduled time, we will start with important safety briefings before setting off from Drake Bay towards the enchanting Isla del Caño, renowned as a top diving destination in Costa Rica.

After a scenic 40-minute boat ride, we will reach the island's coastline. Here, we will gear up for our initial dive, equipped with full diving gear. This first dive will take us on a 45-minute exploration of the vibrant underwater world. Following this, we will return to the boat and navigate to the beach of Isla del Caño for a much-needed rest.

Are you ready for the second dive? We will delve back underwater for another 45 minutes, uncovering the rich biodiversity of this Biological Reserve. During our underwater exploration, we may encounter various species including parrot fish, surgeon fish, jacks, ojaranes, white tip reef sharks, turtles, snappers, and depending on the season, we might even see manta rays.

For a perfect ending, we will visit San Josecito beach to enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch with ocean views—a deserved break!

After an enriching 7.5 hours of adventure, we will return to Drake Bay, concluding our experience with warm farewells.
