Snorkelling on Isla del Caño

After meeting your guide on the coast of Bahía Drake, you'll board a boat for a cruise to Isla del Caño. This virgin island, covered with lush vegetation, is one of the protected natural areas of Costa Rica's southwestern coast.

Upon reaching Caño Island, you'll prepare for your snorkelling experience, putting on goggles, flippers, and a breathing tube. Enjoy two dives in the shallow waters of the Pacific, with locations selected based on ocean currents and weather conditions of the day.

Through your snorkelling goggles, you'll see marine creatures native to these subtropical waters, including rays and various fish species. At the end of your underwater adventure, you'll return to Bahía Drake by boat.

Important Info

Normally, the snorkelling activity begins at 7 am, with a return to Drake Bay around 1 pm. However, these times can vary depending on weather and sea conditions, so it is recommended to keep the whole day free.
