Anuradhapura Private Excursion

At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya and head north to the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

About an hour and a half later, we'll arrive at Anuradhapura, ready to explore this area full of temples and Buddhist ruins. Anuradhapura was the capital of the Sinhalese kingdoms for more than 1,000 years.

The monumental area of Anuradhapura extends over 40 square kilometers, featuring numerous fascinating sites, including the Isurumuniya Vihara temple with its stone carvings, the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi sacred tree, the Ruvanvelisaya Dagoba, and the Samadhi Buddha sculpture.

If desired, we can also stop at a restaurant during the visit, allowing you ample time for lunch. The guide will provide recommendations for local cuisine.

After visiting Anuradhapura, we will return to Sigiriya, dropping you off at your hotel by 7 pm.
