At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya and head north to the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

About an hour and a half later, we'll arrive at our destination, ready to explore this area full of temples and Buddhist ruins. Anuradhapura served as the capital of the Sinhalese kingdoms for over 1,000 years.

The monumental area of Anuradhapura extends over 40 square kilometers, featuring significant sites such as the Isurumuniya Vihara temple with its stone carvings, the sacred tree of Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the Ruvanvelisaya Dagoba, and the sacred sculpture of the Samadhi Buddha.

Along the way, you may choose to stop at a restaurant for lunch, with recommendations from the guide for local cuisine.

After visiting Anuradhapura, we'll return to Sigiriya, dropping you off at your hotel at 7 pm.
