At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya and head north to the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

About an hour and a half later, we'll arrive at our destination to explore this area full of temples and Buddhist ruins. Anuradhapura was the capital of the Sinhalese kingdoms for more than 1,000 years.

The monumental area of Anuradhapura extends over 40 square kilometers, offering numerous sites to visit. The Isurumuniya Vihara temple with its stone carvings, the sacred tree of Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the Ruvanvelisaya Dagoba, and the sculpture of the Samadhi Buddha await discovery.

If desired, we can also stop at a restaurant for lunch, and the guide will provide recommendations for local cuisine.

After the visit, we will return to Sigiriya, dropping you off at your hotel by 7 pm.
