Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Sigiriya at 7 am. After a quick briefing, we will embark on a journey of approximately 90 kilometers south towards Kandy, with a travel time of about two and a half hours.

Throughout the day, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty and culture of the second most significant city in Sri Lanka, renowned for its spiritual importance to Buddhists. Highlights of our visit include the Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya, home to over 4,000 plant species, the expansive man-made lake in Kandy, spanning more than 3 kilometers, the impressive statue of Bahirawakanda Vihara, and even a glimpse into a silk factory.

No trip to Kandy would be complete without experiencing Sri Dalada Maligawa. Known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, this iconic site is one of the foremost pilgrimage locations for Buddhists around the globe. Delve into its intriguing history with our guide during the visit!
