Pidurangala & Hiriwaduna Village Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya at 7 am. Our first stop is Pidurangala.

Upon arrival, we'll explore this Buddhist complex and discuss its history. Then, we will climb up to Pidurangala Rock for one of the best views of Sigiriya and the famous Lion Rock.

After enjoying the scenery, we'll descend and take you to a restaurant area where you'll have some free time for lunch.

After lunch, we’ll continue to the village of Hiriwaduna to learn about local customs. This includes a ride through the rice fields on an ox-drawn cart and crossing Hiriwadunna Lake by boat.

The private excursion will conclude back at your hotel in Sigiriya, arriving at 5 pm.
