When booking, you can choose between two private excursions, both including hotel pickup in Silvia and return transfer:

Andean condor watching + Hot springs (11 hours)

At 6:40 am, we will head to Puracé National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve featuring stunning landscapes. First, we will visit a viewpoint to spot the Andean condor, learning about this endangered species.

The day will involve exploring the area's flora and visiting sites such as the Andulbio lagoon, the wishing well, and the waterfall of the Bedón river (6-meter cascade), followed by a visit to the hot springs of San Juan. One hour will be allotted for lunch before returning to Silvia by 6 pm.

Puracé volcano hike (13 hours)

We'll begin the hiking route to Puracé volcano with a 5 am pickup. After a two-hour drive, we will arrive and enjoy a hot drink before starting the hike.

The five-hour hike up the volcanic slopes to the summit (4,673 meters above sea level) offers incredible views of the crater. The hike includes insights into the eruptions of Puracé and its flora and fauna. After the hike, you can relax in the hot springs. One hour will be reserved for lunch, returning to Silvia by 6 pm.
