Tour of Casa Payán + Misak Ritual

For those interested in the Misak culture, this tour presents a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in their traditions. Participants will explore the Casa Payán and participate in a harmonization ritual, gaining insights into the beliefs of this pre-Hispanic community from Colombia's Cauca region.

Casa Payán Tour + Misak Ritual

The day begins at 8 am, where we will gather at the central park of Silvia. From there, we will board a minibus and make our way to a tranquil garden to experience a Misak ritual, during which we will delve into their music and traditional dances.

As we take our seats, the sounds of traditional Misak music will envelop us. The harmonization ritual features offerings and chants designed to foster connections among different ethnicities and dispel negative energies. This promises to be a unique and memorable experience!

Following the ritual, we will continue our journey by minibus to the Casa Payán Interpretation Center. Here, participants will gain valuable knowledge about the ancient healing practices of the Misak. The tour will highlight the natural properties of medicinal plants utilized by this culture as we explore the facilities of the center.

Before concluding our visit, guests will savor a delicious lunch, featuring a choice between a fish or vegetarian dish, along with a drink.
