If you're visiting Singapore and you're passionate about art, you can't miss the collection of the National Gallery Singapore. Located in the former Town Hall and High Court of Singapore, this gallery houses a huge collection of more than 8000 pieces, the largest collection of Southeast Asian art in the world. Its works, dating from the 19th century to the present day, are arranged over 64,000 square metres, making it the largest visual arts centre in Singapore and one of the largest in the region. In addition to permanent exhibitions, it has temporary exhibitions in collaboration with major world museums to present Southeast Asian art in a wider context.

The National Gallery Singapore is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm. Final admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
