Description

Biester Palace, located in the Sintra mountains, is a 19th-century mansion recently opened to the public. Designed by architects such as José Luiz Monteiro and Luigi Manini, who also created the Quinta da Regaleira palace, it is of great historical importance.

Your entrance includes access to the residence and gardens, both in Romantic style. Inside, the Entrance Gallery features wooden coffered ceilings and Naturalistic paintings. The tour includes the Drawing Room, the Banquet Hall with its Neo-Gothic portico, the atrium, and a chapel adorned with Templar symbols. In the basement, you will find an Initiatory Chamber connected to the garden by a tunnel.

The surrounding park showcases exotic plants, ponds, and green areas, offering peaceful strolls and viewpoints overlooking the Castelo dos Mouros.

The Biester Palace is open daily:

April - September: 10 am to 8 pm, last admission at 7 pm.October - March: 10 am to 6:30 pm, last admission at 5:30 pm.
