Evora + Monsaraz Excursion
This excursion to Evora and Monsaraz offers a journey through the picturesque Portuguese countryside to explore these two historic "museum-cities" in the Alentejo region.
Starting at the Sintra train station, the tour heads towards Evora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved medieval architecture. Highlights include the Cathedral, Roman Temple, and Chapel of the Bones.
After a guided tour of Evora, there is an hour of free time for lunch before continuing to Monsaraz, one of the oldest villages in Portugal. Built within a 14th-century castle, Monsaraz offers stunning views of the Alqueva dam and Guadiana valley.
The excursion concludes back at the Sintra train station after a full day of exploring these charming destinations.
