Skopje Walking Tour

On this guided tour of Skopje, we'll explore the history and iconic attractions of North Macedonia's capital while uncovering the stories behind its significant monuments.

Tour Details

We will meet at Macedonia Square at the scheduled time to begin our guided tour. Our first stop will be the statue that overlooks the square, where we will provide a brief historical introduction to key events in the city's development. We will then walk through the city towards the Mother Teresa Memorial House.

The next destination is the Macedonian Archaeological Museum, known for its impressive collection and stunning facade, along with panoramic views of the Vardar River and the Stone Bridge.

Our tour continues at the Park of the Fighting Woman, located near the Triumphal Arch. We will pay tribute to the figures commemorated in this green space and visit Kapan Han and Suli Han, historic inns in the old bazaar.

Finally, we will reach the Skopje Fortress, established in the 6th century, which has witnessed many of the city's battles.

The tour will conclude back at the starting point after a duration of two to two and a half hours. See you next time!
