On this guided tour of Skopje, we will explore the capital of North Macedonia and its key attractions while uncovering the history behind its monuments.

Tour Details

We will meet at Macedonia Square at the established time to start our tour. Our first stop will be the statue that overlooks the square, where we will have a brief historical introduction about significant moments in the city's history. Next, we will stroll through the city streets to the Mother Teresa Memorial House.

Our next destination will be the Macedonian Archaeological Museum, which features a remarkable collection and offers panoramic views of the Vardar River and the Stone Bridge.

We will then visit the Park of the Fighting Woman, located near the Triumphal Arch. After this, we will explore Kapan Han and Suli Han, historic inns in the old bazaar.

Lastly, we will approach the Skopje Fortress, built in the 6th century, which has witnessed many battles throughout the city’s history.

The tour will conclude back at the starting point after approximately two to two and a half hours of sightseeing. See you next time!
