On this guided tour of Skopje, we'll explore the capital of North Macedonia and discover the history behind its notable attractions.
Tour Details
We will meet at Macedonia Square to begin the guided tour. Our first highlight will be the statue that overlooks the square, where we'll discuss significant historical moments of the city. This will lead us to the Mother Teresa Memorial House.
Next, we will stop at the Macedonian Archaeological Museum, which features an impressive collection and offers picturesque views of the Vardar River and the Stone Bridge.
The tour continues to the Park of the Fighting Woman, near the notable Triumphal Arch. We will also visit Kapan Han and Suli Han, two historic inns located in the old bazaar.
In conclusion, we will visit the Skopje Fortress, built in the 6th century, a monument to the many battles of the city.
