At the designated meeting point in the centre of Doade, we will embark on our journey aboard a tourist train that will take us through the breathtaking scenery of the Ribeira Sacra, renowned as one of Galicia's most intriguing and scenic locales.

As we travel by train, we will navigate the steep and dramatic cliffs of the Sil Canyon, a striking gorge sculpted over thousands of years by the river that shares its name. Our journey will lead us to the Amandi region, celebrated for its ancient terraced vineyards, some of which date back to Roman times. Known for their ‘heroic’ design due to steep inclines, these terraces provide stunning views of the riverside and their intricate landscape.

Our exploration will continue through this enchanting Galician countryside, where we will pass by historic vineyards. While absorbing the magnificent surroundings, we will also delve into the rich heritage and traditions of the Ribeira Sacra. Renowned for its monasteries and viticulture, this area is a hidden jewel that has retained its allure through the ages.

After an hour of scenic travel, we will return to our starting location to conclude this memorable excursion.
