Join us on a fantastic survival course in Pyhä-Luosto National Park, where you will learn how to build a quinzee, the traditional Lapp igloo.

Arctic Survival Course

We'll meet at Amethys store in Luosto at the indicated time before heading to Pyhä-Luosto National Park. You will participate in a workshop where you will learn about arctic nature and survival techniques in Lappish weather.

During the class, all necessary equipment will be provided, including sleeping bags, thermal clothes, arctic mats, and various stove systems. Afterward, we will enjoy a hot meal consisting of sausages, snacks, and homemade bread.

Feeling reenergized, we will proceed with the survival course by building a quinzee, a traditional Lappish igloo. After constructing the snow shelter, we will go inside and experience life as Eskimos.

After a day of learning to survive in the Arctic, we will leave Pyhä-Luosto National Park and return to the original starting point after a total duration of 6 hours.
