Join us on a fantastic survival course in Pyhä-Luosto National Park where you will learn to build a quinzee, the traditional Lapp igloo.

Arctic Survival Course

We will meet at Amethys store in Luosto at the indicated time before heading to Pyhä-Luosto National Park. There, you will participate in a workshop to learn about arctic nature and survival tricks for Lappish weather.

All necessary equipment will be provided, including sleeping bags, thermal clothes, arctic mats, and various stove systems. Following the workshop, a hot meal will be served, consisting of sausages, snacks, and homemade bread.

Once reenergized, the course will continue with building a quinzee. After constructing the snow shelter, participants will enter and experience life as Eskimos.

After a full day of learning survival techniques in the Arctic, we will depart from Pyhä-Luosto National Park and return to the starting point, completing a total of 6 hours.
