Join us on a fantastic survival course in Pyhä-Luosto National Park where you will learn to build a quinzee, the traditional Lapp igloo.

Arctic Survival Course

We will meet at Amethys store in Luosto at the indicated time and head to Pyhä-Luosto National Park. You will participate in a workshop to learn about Arctic nature and survival techniques for Lappish weather.

You will receive all necessary equipment, including sleeping bags, thermal clothes, arctic mats, and various stove systems. After the class, we will have a hot meal with sausages, snacks, and homemade bread.

Afterward, we will continue the course by building a quinzee - a traditional Lappish igloo. We will enter the snow shelter once completed and experience life like true Eskimos.

After a day of Arctic survival training, we will leave Pyhä-Luosto National Park and return to the starting point after a total of 6 hours.
