Cross-Country Skiing

Experience the world of the Sámi people on this cross-country skiing trip from Luosto through the stunning Pyhä-Luosto National Park in Finnish Lapland.

Activity Details

Participants will meet at the Amethys store in Luosto at their chosen time. The guide will provide a brief presentation on the basic techniques for cross-country skiing before the activity begins.

After equipping skis and poles, the group will enter the winter landscapes of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Participants will enjoy the serene ambiance of the snowy wilderness.

Cross-country skiing holds significance in Finnish culture, and it is commonly taught to children. A break will be made at a campsite to rest and enjoy a hot drink by the fire.

After two and a half hours, the activity will conclude back at the starting point.
