Visit Koprivshtitsa and Plovdiv, two of the most famous areas in Bulgaria, and be enchanted by the mix of culture, architecture and tradition that breathes in every corner of both these cities.

Plovdiv & Koprivstitsa Day Tour

Pick up at 7:45 am at Alexander Nevsky Square. Depart at 8 am to Plovdiv, arriving after approximately 2 hours. Explore the region's rich history, influenced by Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Bulgarian culture. Tour the ancient city, walk through the cobbled streets, see the colourful houses, and visit the ancient Roman Theatre and the Regional Ethnographic Museum (entrance ticket not included).

Next, travel to Koprivshtitsa, located north of Plovdiv, known for its incredible history and eye-catching colourful houses. The city is notable for its role in the Bulgarian liberation struggles, giving visitors a sense of pride in its heritage.

Return to Sofia, with arrival at Alexander Nevsky Square scheduled between 6:30 and 7 pm.

Koprivstitsa cannot be visited during the winter season due to heavy snowfalls.
