We will meet at the designated time at Vasil Levski Square before departing for Rila National Park. Our first stop will be the charming resort town of Panichishte, where we will take a chairlift that will whisk us to our hiking starting point in 25 minutes. Ready to explore one of Bulgaria's natural gems? It's time to visit the Seven Rila Lakes!

Situated at over 6,500 feet (1,981 meters) above sea level, we will embark on a scenic 5-hour hike to the Seven Lakes, the main draw of the park. Your guide will share insights about the remarkable environment as you visit each stunning lake along this intermediate hiking route. Please note that the hike duration may occasionally be adjusted to 4 hours.

After our exploration of the Seven Rila Lakes, we will proceed to the historic Rila Monastery, one of Bulgaria's most significant architectural treasures. As you stroll through its impressive 65-foot (19 meters) high walls, you'll learn about its rich history and fascinating anecdotes.

The monastery stands as a symbol of Bulgarian cultural identity during the Ottoman rule. During your visit, take the opportunity to immerse yourself in its surroundings and uncover the past, including the tomb of Boris III, the last Bulgarian king.

At the conclusion of the visit, we will return to Sofia, where we will drop you off at Vasil Levski Square.
