Sofia Guided Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and set off on our guided tour of Sofia. We will enter this building, which is the second-largest cathedral in the Balkans, and learn about its namesake, a Russian prince.

During our tour, we will pass by the Church of Saint George, Sofia's oldest building, constructed by the Romans on the ruins of a Pagan temple in the ancient city of Serdica.

Next, we'll visit Saint Sofia Church, a symbol of the Bulgarian capital since the 6th century.

Our historical journey will continue at The Largo, featuring three Stalinist buildings: the former House of the Bulgarian Communist Party, the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria, and the President's Office.

Additional highlights include the Parliament, the former Royal Palace, and the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the most important theatre in Bulgaria.

After a 2-hour guided tour of Sofia and its must-see sights, we'll conclude in the city centre.
